Star Wars Reads Day is an international event that celebrates reading and Star Wars. It was launched in 2012 by Lucasfilm and its publishing partners--Abrams, Chronicle Books, Dark Horse, Del Rey, DK Publishing, Klutz, Random House Audio, Scholastic, and Workman. This year, we're excited to have Quirk Books participating as well.
Essentially today is about celebrating the numerous books that are all based on the Star Wars Universe. There are events going on world wide celebrating reading and the wealth of reading that is available to kids who love Star Wars!
R2-D2 and are participated in SWRD at The Briar Patch in downtown Bangor. We had the pleasure of being joined by some of the Mercs from the Mandalorian Mercs as well.
