However before that, I wanted to put R2's center foot on the scale and see how much weight is being placed on it....

There's just under 100 pounds of weight being supported by the center foot. The casters I have been using are rated for that and more yet we're still grinding the bearings and wearing the wheels out.
Here's a comparison picture of the casters that were mounted in there with the new, replacement one sporting rollerblade wheels...
