Resuming work on the droids

Well it has been a few months since I posted anything. The R2's have been on the backburner this winter since I just didn't have the budget to purchase some of the components I need. Its also too cold for paint and adhesives since the basement/shop area is a balmy 48F.

Here's how they look now...# 1 is mostly waiting for electronics. #2 needs ankles, feet and lot's more. As you can imagine, I'm devoting most of my energy to get #1 completed. I'll grab parts and pieces for #2 as they become available.

With spring on the way, the building resumes!
